2) WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you:

- request a valuation/offer/callback;
- contact us (phone, email, WhatsApp, webform, social media);
- sell (or attempt to sell) a caravan/motorhome to us; or
- are referred or introduced to third parties through our lead-distribution activities (explained below).

- B) Vehicle & enquiry data: make/model, year, spec, condition, faults, service history, photos/videos, location, your price expectation, valuation/offer history, appointment/collection details.
- C) Communications data: messages, emails, call notes; call recordings where used (we will inform you if a call is recorded).
- D) Website/device data: IP address, device/browser data, pages visited, cookie identifiers (subject to your cookie choices).
- E) Payment data (if you sell to us): bank details needed to pay you.
4) HOW WE COLLECT DATA
- Directly from you via forms, calls, messages, emails, and documents/photos you provide.
- Automatically via cookies/analytics (subject to your preferences).
- From verification checks where relevant (e.g., to confirm details/ownership/finance markers where appropriate and lawful).
5) HOW WE USE YOUR DATA (PURPOSES + LAWFUL BASES)
We use your data for these purposes:
A) To provide valuations, quotes and manage enquiries
Lawful basis: Steps prior to entering a contract / performance of a contract.
B) To buy a vehicle from you and administer the transaction
Lawful basis: Performance of a contract; legal obligation (e.g., accounting/tax recordkeeping).
C) To run checks, prevent fraud, and protect our business
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests; and/or legal obligation where applicable.
D) To provide customer service, handle disputes/complaints, and improve processes Lawful basis: Legitimate interests.
E) Marketing and follow-ups Lawful basis: Consent where required (e.g., certain electronic marketing); legitimate interests where lawful (e.g., responding to your enquiry and limited “soft opt-in” scenarios, if applicable). You can opt out any time.
F) IMPORTANT: Lead sharing / lead supply (“BuyLeisureLeads”) If we decide not to purchase your vehicle, we may (with your permission where required) share your enquiry details with selected third-party caravan/motorhome dealers and buyers via our lead-distribution activities (including buyleisureleads.co.uk) so you can receive alternative offers.
Lawful basis: Consent (recommended and typically required for “selling/supplying leads”); and/or legitimate interests in limited cases only where lawful and appropriately balanced.
You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your Rights).
6) LEAD SHARING / “SALE OF LEADS” – WHAT THIS MEANS IN PRACTICE
Where you have provided the relevant consent (for example by ticking a checkbox on our form), we may share/supply the following types of data with third parties:
- your name, contact details;
- vehicle details, photos, location area/postcode, and any notes relevant to valuation;
- your price expectation and availability.
We may receive a fee for providing these leads. The third party becomes an independent controller of your data once they receive it, and their own privacy policy will apply. We recommend you review their terms/privacy when they contact you.
If you do not want your data shared in this way, do not tick the consent box (or tell us at any time and we will stop future sharing).
7) WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
We may share data with:
- our CRM and communications providers (email, telephony, SMS/WhatsApp systems);
- IT/hosting providers and website form providers;
- analytics/advertising providers (subject to cookie consent);
- banks/payment providers (to pay you);
- professional advisers (accountants, insurers, solicitors);

- selected third-party dealers/buyers where you have consented to lead sharing (see section 6).
We do not sell personal data as a standalone dataset. We may, however, supply enquiry details as leads to third parties where you have provided appropriate permission, as described above.
